Charl DeVilliers > Managing Director/Experienced Landscaper
Charl has come from other backgrounds and he brings his own landscaping experiences to us to provide a further string in our bow. As a past and current specialist in glass balustrading, he brings other strengths too, along with his great timber skills, all-round practical thinking and a real love for landscaping. Nothing is too much for Charl who is a new Dad and determined to help build this business to higher levels in the years to come.
Paul Henkes > Experienced Landscaper
Paul has been with Distinctive for 6+ yrs and has been a solid all round landscaper for that time having already worked in other companies for many years prior. From garden projects, laying paving and building retaining walls, Paul digs in and produces a hard days work in all weathers. He is a local Dad with two girl. He also helps his wife in her own business when he's not working the barrow, building a slat fence or digging holes for new plants.
Richard Letica > Supervisor/Senior Landscaper
Richard comes with a long pedigree in the landscape industry and combines his own experiences within the team to train new staff and manage ‘all kinds’ of tricky. No short cuts under his watch, so be assured of a top-class job for whatever he does. Richard has a family with two active boys and is very involved as a coach in youth sports. A super easy character to get along with, who will listen to your request and solve all your problems.
Valentine (Val) Melrose > Builder/Landscaper
Val is a newer member to our team and is a multi talented fellow who can not only landscape but build houses and cook (qualified chef). He helps boost our teams broad range of skills by combining his building knowledge with the additional skills we're teaching him. Val's a neat guy who fits in, produces quality work, has a friendly manner and is serious about his work. He loves dogs and getting outdoors for a whole range of activities.
Jamie Coey > Qualified Landscaper
Jamie has recently qualified with good grades across all the subject units required within the Landscape Industry Association Apprenticeship scheme. Congrats to Jamie who is already producing some excellent woodwork, paving and associated outdoor tasks. He has an eye for fine detail and we guarantee you will smile when seeing his work. He carries 7+ yrs experience already and is continuing to soak up the knowledge of those around him to become a solid landscaper of the future.
Tyler Knowles > Junior Landscaper
Every landscape team needs that young fella who is willing to learn and use his youthful energy to do all those "hard tasks" the older guys would rather not do. Tyler is a recent school leaver and is using his time wisely by helping us every week to ‘get things done’. He eventually wants to fly planes (and can already fly solo) so watch out as one day he might fly YOU. In the meantime, he grafts away daily, has become much better at backing trailers and will guarantee to work hard for you.
